Tired of the same old poker runs? The American Legion Riders of Post 223 are hosting our first ever Scavenger Hunt!

About the scavenger hunt:

Individuals and teams (4 or more vehicles) will be given a list of places/attractions to visit and each item will have a point value attached to it. You must go to as many items on the list as you can and get your picture taken there. For groups, all members of the group must be in the picture to get full point value. You can also get bonus points on some items by doing something a little extra. Both the individual and the team with the most points at the end of the scavenger hunt will each win a cash prize. From the time registration opens at 9:00 AM on Saturday August 29, you have until 3:00 PM on Sunday August 30 to get as many points as you can and turn in your score sheet.

What if there’s a tie?

If two groups or two individuals have the same amount of points, the winner will be determined by whoever turns in their score sheet and pictures first.

How much is it?

The entry fee is $15 for an individual and $10 for each person in a group.

About groups

As said earlier, groups consist of 4 or more vehicles and all entrants in a group must register AS a group. Also, with a group, there needs to be one official camera for the pictures to be turned in for the prize.

Can I use a cell phone camera?

Sure, as long as the pictures can be downloaded from the cell phone to a computer for viewing.

Can I use a film camera?

No. Only digital cameras can be used for the scavenger hunt.

Will I get my camera back?

Absolutely; however, the American Legion Riders of Post 223 reserve the right to publish or use any of the pictures taken for the scavenger hunt on its website or in other promotional materials.
