Mr. Dash is a
veteran of the United States
Navy and has been a member of
the American Legion since 1975.
He is an Honorary Life Member
of Post 223 and is a member
of the 40/8. Mr. Dash was also
the first Vietnam-era veteran
elected as Commander of Post
223. Previously, he has served
in many roles, including: Commander
and Finance Officer concurrently,
First Vice Commander, Third
Vice Commander (a now extinct
office), Judge Advocate, and
Veterans Day Committee Chairman.
He has three sons—one of whom
is a member of S.A.L. Squadron
223—and one daughter.
