Mr. Ridgley is
a veteran of the United States
Army during the Vietnam War,
serving from 1970 to 1971 in
the Infantry of the 1st Cavalry
Division, and has been a member
of the American Legion since
1975. Previously, he has served
as Carroll County Commander,
Post Commander, First Vice Commander,
Finance Officer, Service Officer,
and D.E.C. Representative. He
also annually chairs the Post's
Sportsman's Day event. Mr. Ridgley
is an Honorary Life Member of
Post 223 and the recipient of
the American Legion Medal of
Merit. He also serves on the
Board of Directors for the League
of Maryland Horsemen, serves
as a Volunteer Fireman, and
has three children.
